SNIPPETS OF POETRY have been placed at Wellington Square to help spread important messages and inspire customers.
We have teamed up with poet James Mcinerney and The Poetry Project to help raise mental health awareness.
Posters have been placed at Wellington Square on the side of Iceland at towards the entrance of car park.
James, who started The Poetry Project in 2008, said: “The inspirational quotes are there to try and help those who are suffering and show them they are not alone. The poems are designed to make people stop, think and question.
“The aim of the project is to get poetry into places you wouldn’t normally see it and open people`s eyes to the joy of poetry,” added James.
Chantal Taylor, Marketing Manager, at Wellington Square said: “When James got in touch we couldn’t wait to get involved. It’s a brilliant idea and helps spread a very important message.
“We hope the inspirational quotes will give shoppers a boost, help spread positivity and brighten their day,” added Chantal.
