WELLINGTON SQUARE helped keep families entertained throughout August as we brought a Summer Fun Fiesta to the shopping centre.

On Saturdays throughout the Summer holidays, we provided free entertainment and welcomed thousands of visitors to the centre.

Gaming enthusiasts got to experience the ultimate gaming adventure on the Gamezone Bus! This state-of-the-art mobile gaming van featured stadium-style seating with TVs, PS5s, Xboxes, and a Nintendo Switch, offering over 50 of the latest games.

The bus was extremely popular with children (and adults!) of all ages with gamers playing against each other on Fallout, Fifa and F1!

Budding young artists also unleashed their creativity at our craft sessions where little ones had fun with gliders, fans and flags.

Not forgetting our always very-popular face painting where we were thrilled to see Minions, dalmatians and Spider-man join us on the mall!

Chantal Taylor, Marketing Manager at Wellington Square, said: “Once again our free family events over the summer holidays were very popular.

“We loved bringing all the different activities to the mall and we hope everyone enjoyed getting involved and had plenty of fun.”

Christoper Whitfield who attended all the events with his children Max and Sophie said: “Wellington Square has truly outdone themselves with the Summer Fun Fiesta!

“My kids had an absolute blast—from gaming on the Gamezone Bus to getting their faces painted. It was the perfect way to spend our Saturdays, and we can’t wait for the next event!”
