AT WELLINGTON SQUARE, we’re over the moon to announce MFC Foundation as our Charity of the Year!

Their top-of-the-league work across Teesside is all about bringing hope, boosting confidence, and helping people hit the back of the net with their potential – and we can’t wait to support them for another year.

MFC Foundation supports young people and adults engaging through inspiring programmes in sport, education, health, and inclusion. Whether it’s a kickabout, classroom help, or wellbeing support, they’re making a real difference.

Founded by Boro Chairman Steve Gibson, MFC Foundation was one of the first football club charities. His vision was to use the power of the badge to inspire and unite the local community – and it’s been a winning formula ever since!

This year, we’ll be teaming up with the Foundation for some cracking community campaigns, including:

• Kick Off in the Square: Family-friendly football fun right here in Wellington Square.
• Wellington Wellness: Drop-in sessions tackling mental and physical health.
• Team Teesside Fundraisers: Community challenges to raise vital funds.

We can’t wait to get on the pitch and help MFC Foundation reach even more people in Stockton-on-Tees. Keep an eye out for event updates – together, we’ll be scoring goals for our community!
